We are a traditional weavers. The art of weaving is traditionally alive in our family. The special feature of patola saree is that it is designed and weaved cent percent by a weaver. Patola is 100% ethnic authentic handloom product. The weaving process is so complex that various members of the same family work together to produce this famed piece of art. Silk thread is distended to prepare a ‘Bandhej’, according to the design. Afterwards the process of dyeing and weaving is done. this processes requires painstaking efforts, hard work and precision.

A successful weaving process of patola saree is only possible by hands of master craftsman who is hapeful and dedicated handloom weaver. For onservation, development and effort for keeping this depleting art of weaving patola alive today and for future. Mr. Pankaj Dungarbhai Makwana and Mrs. Madhuri Pankathai Makwana were awarded by Respected President of lndia in year 2009-10. Mrs. Madhuri Makawana was awarded by “Savitriben Phule First Lady
Award” for Art Literature from State Government.
